Coastal areas are vulnerable to environmental pollution, especially from plastic waste. One innovative solution that can be applied is to use plastic waste in ecobricks, which are solid plastic bottles containing non-biodegradable plastics that can be used as environmentally friendly building materials. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of the coastal community of Tanjung Karang Beach in making ecobricks through education and direct practice. The methods used included interactive education on the impact of plastic waste and ecobrick making techniques, which 21 participants attended. Evaluation is carried out through a pre-test and post-test to measure knowledge improvement. The results of the pre-test showed that the majority of participants had low knowledge (57.14% in the "Less" category and 28.57% in the "Very Less" category). After the intervention, the post-test results showed a significant improvement, with 28.57% of participants achieving the "Excellent" category and 66.67% the "Good" category. These results show that ecobrick training has proven effective in increasing coastal communities' understanding of plastic waste management and the implementation of sustainable environmental solutions.
